Can economic analysis help us make good choices when we are out looking for a place to eat? Prof. Tyler Cowen certainly thinks so and explains his ideas in his book “An Economist Gets Lunch”. While extolling local, authentic food he does not support “environmental fetishism” which resonated with me.
