Where to Eat?

Can economic analysis help us make good choices when we are out looking for a place to eat? Prof. Tyler Cowen certainly thinks so and explains his ideas in his book  “An Economist Gets Lunch”.  While extolling local, authentic food he does not support  “environmental fetishism” which resonated with me. Too often, sentiment becomes a dominant issue in making food choices, we need to be more thoughtful about our choices.
